Frequently Asked Questions

The questions plant and IT teams ask first.

Do we have to replace our PLCs or SCADA?

No. VECHR MES connects to the equipment you already have over OPC UA, MQTT and Modbus TCP. If a machine speaks one of those, it can connect.

Does it replace our ERP?

No. ERP keeps planning. VECHR MES executes the plan on the floor and reports back: goods issue, goods receipt and confirmations.

Where does it run?

In your own cloud account or on your own servers. Each plant connects through a local Edge Agent that keeps recording if the network drops.

Does the AI change our production data on its own?

Never. The AI answers questions and drafts changes. A person reviews and confirms before anything is saved.

Is there a free trial?

No, and that is deliberate. VECHR MES runs on your infrastructure, so we evaluate together through a Proof of Concept on your own line, credited back if you go ahead.
